Henry Kissinger was born in Fuerth Germany in 1923, May 27th and was the 56th Secretary of state in the United States. He was a jew who escaped Germany and fled to america and gained and education and a PhD from harvard. Eventually he became a study director of Nuclear Weapon, foreign policy and eventually foreign relations, thanks to his foreign relations Kissinger had won a nobel peace prize because of his involvement in ending the vietnam war. Henry had two wives the first one he had two children with. Kissinger eventually appointed a secretary of state by president John F kennedy and later Richard Nixon. His major roles in life where consultant for many important people and organisations that helped prevent a lot of global conflicts. Henry was a very admired man at the time however nowadays he is seen as manipulative. It is said the kissinger was “seeking power and favorable publicity” to do this Kissinger hired “prominent officials” and “influential reporters” to eventually gain him the ti5tle of most admired man in America in both 1972 and 1973.

Other Jobs kissinger's used to occupy himself was Statesman, author, Soldier, Diplomat, Teacher , Business person and even an actor. This means he was the first person to become both Secretary of state and National security advisor, the difference between the two are that Secretary of the state (in the US) the person responsible for foreign affairs. This means that he was responsible for what happened outside of the US but was still controlled or affected by the US. The National security advisor is the person known as the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs functions as an advisor for the president in the US and gives him options on how he should help keep his country secure. These two are both huge roles that were played during the cold war, this is because this often decided what the US would do during the cold war and how they would help stop the spread of communism amongst their people and neighboring countries peoples.

Henry Kissinger was most commonly and most significantly involved with the former president of the united states Richard Nixon. While Richard Nixon was president Henry Kissinger was announced as secretary of state and would constantly help Richard make decisions on important conflicts both internal and external. Although they were on the same side , the also rivaled each other with Kissinger always trying to attain higher positions and would climb up the political ladder. In some newly released Nixon tapes , Nixon described kissinger as almost becoming dictator like with a large attitude towards power. Another individual kissinger was associated with (more modernly) was former president George W Bush who had consulted and questioned KIssinger about the Iraq war and politically strategic moves about it. Kissinger would often visit the president, this was calculated to be met every second month with the president.
What this person did that made them so significant Who was impacted by their actions and why did/does it matter? Henry Kissinger was significant for two reasons. Firstly Kissinger had helped end the vietnam war. During 1969 Henry Kissinger was appointed as Nations Security Advisor where he made amends to help the end of the vietnam war because of its bloodshed and unpopularity, doing so earned Kissinger a nobel peace prize and further helped his country to continue its journey being a “superpower”. Secondly kissinger helped form the “Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty” an Anti ballistic Missile is the basic air missile used to deliver nuclear /chemical warheads annihilating these would ease tensions between the two Cold War (US and Russia) In doing so kissinger furthered helped the morality of the US citizens and the probability for a full out nuclear war. Without this treaty and exceedingly dangerous nuclear would would break out possibly wiping out the entire world everyone was affected by this action.

He aided the United states presidents in making smart decisions to end multiple conflicts. He helped end the vietnam through amends and pure political strategies. Countries such as Vietnam where affected as well as Russia, Iraq and nearly the entire world.
